At Sparrow Pond Family Campground, we know that camping isn’t just about the great outdoors; it’s also about coming together with family and friends to make lasting memories. That’s why we offer a variety of themed weekend events throughout the camping season that are sure to delight everyone.  Activities & Times may change. April 2025

April 25th: Opening Weekend
Kick off the camping season with us!

May 10th: Mother’s Day Weekend
Mother’s Day Crafts & Wine Bingo

May 31st: Fear Factor Weekend
Bingo Friday Night, Fear Factor games, crafts and more on Saturday!

May 23rd – May 25th: Memorial Day Weekend
Weekend Full of activities, including the SPC Kentucky Derby! Bingo, Crafts, Games, Entertainment and More! Live Music by Mayflower Hill, DJ & Karaoke!

June 2025

June 7th: Weekend at The Races
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Relay races, Dino Races and more!

June 14th: Father’s Day Weekend
Celebrate Father’s Day with us!  Annual Fishing Contest, crafts & Spaghetti Dinner.

June 21st: Hawaiian Luau Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Join us Saturday for our Hawaiian Luau.

June 28th: Jumanji Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Jungle Terry will be here on Saturday plus much more!

July 2025

July 4th & 5th: Fourth of July Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday followed Entertainment by Rick Magee and the Roadhouse Rockers.  Mario Cart Races, crafts and more!

July 12th: Wacky Holiday Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Join us as we put a “twist” on the Holidays!  We will celebrate Christmas AND Halloween!

July 19th: Pirates Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Weekend filled with Pirate activities and games.

July 18th – July 20th: Waterford Days Weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Be a part of the festivities in the historic town of Waterford, PA, just 3 miles from the campground. Take advantage of free admission and parking, peruse the crafters and food vendors, and enjoy the activities, parade, reenactments, and more! A schedule of events will be included in your check-in packet or available at the front desk.

July 26th: Wet n’ Wild Weekend
Start saving your cardboard and get your duct tape and water guns ready for our Wet n’ Wild Weekend. Be a part of the fun, including the Cardboard Boat Regatta, Get Wet Hayride and Water Battle, and pool games. And for the adults, don’t miss out on our 6th Annual Adult-Only Battleship on the pond.

August 2025

August 2nd: Wine & Spirits Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Saturday – Wine (& Juice for kiddos) Tasting Party.

August 9th: Golf Cart Poker Run Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play!  Saturday: Crafts, Poker Run and Hayrides!  You may walk if you do not have a golfcart!

August 16th: Red Neck Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Saturday: Red Neck games and Pot luck dinner!

August 24th: 80s & 90s Weekend
Friday Night Bingo – All ages are welcome to play! Crafts, hayrides and Dance Party on Saturday!

September 2025

August  29th – September 1st: Labor Day Weekend
Join us for a fun-filled weekend with crafts, games, hayrides, and more.  Dash’s Annual Reverse Raffle on Saturday followed by Entertainment with the amazing band Two for Flinching!

october 2025

October 3rd through October 25th: Haunted Hayride

Our Haunted Hayride runs every Friday & Saturday Night.  Doors open at 7pm, last ticket sold at 10pm.  $14 per person.  Tickets only available at the door.

October 11th: Special Halloween Weekend

Pumpkin carving, trick or treat, costume contest & more!   (bring  your own pumpkins for carving, we provide all the tools)
