Sparrow Pond Family Campground
& Recreation Center is Western Pennsylvania’s newest
campground, set on over 180 acres, where every site is equipped
with 20/30/50-amp electric service. Please refer to our site
map, below, to get a feeling for the spaciousness of our sites
and the careful planning behind the layout of our facilities.
Everything is designed with your comfort and convenience as our
primary goal. Even non-campers will love it at Sparrow Pond,
whether staying in one of our premium log cabins, renting one of
our Sparrow’s Nest guest rooms, or simply enjoying an family or
corporate outing at one of our rental pavilions. |

Campground Rules |
|
Sparrow Pond is a family-oriented campground. Any indecent and/or inappropriate behavior, or activities deemed as such by the camp management, will not be tolerated. Campers will be removed immediately without refund and will not be permitted re-entry. Any illegal behavior will be reported to the State Police immediately. |

Registration |
|
Our rate is for one family (2 adults and 2 children),
two vehicles, and one camping unit per site. Additional fees must be paid for extra adults and children. Extra cars are to be parked at the discretion of the management. No Parking on camp roads or on the grass. Check-out time at 1:00 PM. Campers must leave the property at check-out time. If site is available, campers may stay until 5:00 PM for a late check-out fee of $10.00. Check in time begins at 3:00 PM until close daily. No refunds upon early departure. All visitors must register and pay the fees. Visitors must leave the property by 9:00 PM. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets. CAMPERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GUESTS. Display your Parking Pass whenever you are on the campgrounds. |

QUIET HOURS are from 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM. they are enforced. Use only the table and fire ring on your site. Do not walk through other campers’ sites. Put all garbage in a sealed bag and dispose of at nearest garbage collection site. All mail and messages will be held at the office. Emergency messages will be delivered to your site. |

Safety |
|
SPEED LIMIT is 5 MPH. Watch for children. Keep campfires small. Do not burn trash in fire rings. All burning wood must be within the fire ring. Firewood may be purchased at the camp store. No fire should be left unattended. Extinguish your fire before vacating the site. No clotheslines on campsites. NO FIREARMS and FIREWORKS are prohibited. Pool rules are enforced. Swim at you own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No unlicensed motor vehicles of any kind are permitted on the property. Dirt bikes, Go Carts, Mini Bikes, ATV’s or motorized skateboards are NOT permitted. |

Environment |
|
Dishwashing or laundry is not to be done in the restrooms. Use the utility sinks. No mats or carpets are permitted on grass areas. Fishing is catch and release only and is for registered campers and their guests. No swimming or wading in the pond. Do not move any fire rings. No vehicle washing is permitted. Please do not dig any holes or trenches. Cutting standing trees, dead or alive, is prohibited. Do not remove branches from standing trees. By order of PA state law, gray/waste water must be disposed of in the dump station or collected by our mobile septic service. It is illegal to release in on the ground. |

Children |
|
Children and teenagers are NEVER to be left unsupervised; an adult should be on the campground at all times. Children under 16 MUST be supervised by an adult at the pool or fishing pond. Anyone under 18 must be at their campsite by 11:00 PM. In the restrooms, children 6 and under must be supervised by an adult. Bicycles are to be ridden on camp roads only. Riding is not permitted after dark. Children under 12 must wear a helmet. |

Pets |
|
Pets are permitted if on a leash at all times. Pet owner assumes complete liability for any injury inflicted by their pet. Pests must not be left unattended. If pets are tied up, they must on the owner's site. Owners must clean up after their pets anywhere on the campgrounds. Pets are not allowed in any building, on the playground, or at the pool. Barking dogs are annoying and will not be tolerated. |

Anyone who fails to observe these rules or whose conduct does not respect others will be evicted from the campgrounds without refund. We reserve the right to refuse our facilities to any person or group. The management of Sparrow Pond Campground is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss by accident, theft, or fire to either the property or person of a camper or their guest. |
